Pavel, Bára, and Barča presented MBL projects at Applied Synthetic Biology in Europe VI in Edinburgh
Pavel and two of our Barboras (Burýšková and Popelářová) presented recent MBL projects on aerobic overproduction of pyruvate and derived biochemicals in engineered Pseudomonas putida co-utilizing cellulosic sugars glucose and cellobiose and on synthetic mutualistic consortium of P. putida strains engineered for interchange of (hemi)cellulosic substrates in Applied Synthetic Biology in Europe VI conference. This year, the popular event took place in Scotish capital Edinburgh and we enjoyed the beautiful city as well as excellent lectures given by renowned researchers, Ph.D. students, or postdocs. The meeting also gave us the opportunity to meet many old friends and establish new friendships and collaborations. Simply, a great conference!
