Baru presented her research at Designer Biology conference

At the end of July, Baru presented her research at the Designer Biology conference organized by European Federation of Biotechnology in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Her talk with the title of “Integrating in silico design and in vivo screening to engineer interaction in synthetic protein complexes” sparked a rich discussion and helped her get acquainted with potential future collaborators. Baru also enjoyed the rich scientific programme, especially the talks focused on applied research. And last but not least, getting together with some old friends was the cherry on top of the cake!
