Award of the Minister of Health

The team of Professor Růžek's Virology Laboratory has scored another success. In December, Dr. Andrea Fořtová together with Professor Růžek received an award from the Minister of Health of the Czech Republic, Dr. Vladimír Válek. This award was presented for the project Genetic basis of the clinical picture and severity of tick-borne encephalitis, which was funded by the Agency for Health Research of the Czech Republic. Dr Andrea Fořtová commented: "I am very happy about the award, it means that we are doing quality research work."
