New publication accepted in Environmental Microbiology!
A new publication in Environmental Microbiology describing an updated structural model of paradigmatic P. putida's transcriptional regulator XylR is finally out! The new structural model not only helped to re-interpret the effects of a bunch of previously generated mutations but also suggested possible scenarios for interplay with aromatic effectors of XylR. The work is pivotal for any future engineering efforts aiming at the fundamental research of this TF or the design of XylR-based biosensors.
