CzechoSlovak Virology Conference in Prague
On February 15 and 16, we participated in the Czechoslovak Virology Conference, which was held at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
The conference was a great opportunity to show the results of our projects and practice presenting lectures and posters in a friendly environment. In addition, we strengthened ongoing cooperation with other colleagues from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
We brought various projects focused on various aspects of tick-borne encephalitis virus, a comparison of mosquitoes and tick-borne flaviviruses or the Brno loanvirus.
We are very pleased and congratulate our PhD student Michaela Dušková once again for winning the prize for the best presentation by a young scientist! Míša presented her project, which deals with the reporter system of tick-borne encephalitis virus and its possible use in a variety of applications from research on antivirals, antibodies or viral pathogenesis.
