Pavel presented MBL projects at NextGenBiocat conference in Crete

Pavel attended the NextGenBiocat conference organized by our friend Ioannis Pavlidis in Heraklion, Crete, and presented several recent MBL projects in his talk entitled Synthetically primed adaptation of bacterial metabolism to renewable sugar substrates. The conference, which brought together early career scientists, young PIs, and corporate representatives in the field of protein engineering and biocatalysis, was a great success. In addition to the excellent science and future trends in protein engineering that were discussed over the two days, participants had the opportunity to learn the basics of traditional Greek dancing and learn about the history of Crete and European civilization.
