Barča's stay in Pablo Nikel's group at DTU Biosustain in Denmark
Barča Břenková is now staying for two months in the group of our friend Pablo Nikel (Systems Environmental Microbiology Lab) at DTU Biosustain. She is learning new cutting-edge methods for genome editing in environmental bacteria developed by SEM group. In agreement with our research aims, she will apply these techniques for the study and modification of the metabolism of lignocellulosic substrates in Pseudomonas putida. Besides, she has the opportunity to enjoy friendly Danish culture and an excellent research environment in one of the best biotechnology centers in Europe.
