Barča G. participated in summer school Synthetic Biology and its Applications in the University of Tartu, Estonia

Barča Gavendová visited Tartu, the European city of culture for 2024, and graduated from summer school of Synthetic Biology and its Applications led by Ilona Faustova and Artemi Maljavin from LoogLab. She used Golden Gate cloning to modify yeast for carotene production, then analyzed the yeast using HPLC and TLC. On top of the lab work, she experienced the vibrant Estonian capital of culture and enjoyed the many social events planned by the university.
