We have obtained a new GC with FID detector. We will use the instrument to analyze various metabolites. Along with the instrument, we also obtained a hydrogen, nitrogen and synthetic air generator. We are currently preparing methods and looking forward to working with the instrument.
LAM is co-investigator of the project "The Corrosive Appetite of Microorganisms: Corrosion of Mg Alloys Influenced by Methanogens and Sulfate-Reducing Bacteria in Anaerobic Environments", which was supported by The Czech Science Foundation (GACR).
