We are delighted to announce that our colleague Monika Vitezova has been appointed professor. The official ceremony took place yesterday at Karolinum, where the President of the Czech Republic personally handed her the appointment decree. This significant achievement is a well-deserved recognition of her long-standing work, expertise, and contribution to the scientific community. Monika has greatly advanced her field and continues to inspire not only her students but also her colleagues. The entire team warmly congratulates her and wishes her continued success both professionally and personally.
LAM is co-investigator of the project "The Corrosive Appetite of Microorganisms: Corrosion of Mg Alloys Influenced by Methanogens and Sulfate-Reducing Bacteria in Anaerobic Environments", which was supported by The Czech Science Foundation (GACR).
