Our students from the LAM successfully represented us at the conference “Microbiology Around Us,” organized by the Czechoslovak Microbiological Society from November 26–28, 2025.

LAM is co-investigator of the project "The Corrosive Appetite of Microorganisms: Corrosion of Mg Alloys Influenced by Methanogens and Sulfate-Reducing Bacteria in Anaerobic Environments", which was supported by The Czech Science Foundation (GACR).

The lecture, titled Proteinogenic amino acid production by methanogenic archaea, focused on the ability of methanogenic archaea to produce proteinogenic amino acids and the potential applications of this process in sustainable biotechnology and bio-based production systems.
