Current achievements in anaerobic research, interesting innovations and trends, as well as the challenges scientists had to face and how they solved them, were presented at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ). Various areas of application and basic research intersected here, creating a diverse content from which our LAM members gained a lot.
The lecture, titled Proteinogenic amino acid production by methanogenic archaea, focused on the ability of methanogenic archaea to produce proteinogenic amino acids and the potential applications of this process in sustainable biotechnology and bio-based production systems.
LAM participated in a workshop as part of the annual general meeting of the European Ventilation Hygiene Association (EVHA), which took place from September 7 to 9 in Marseille, France.
