Shared First Place in the AKI Award for Outstanding Student Thesis
A diploma thesis from the Laboratory of Anaerobic Microorganisms, Masaryk University has been awarded a shared first place in the 2026 Association of Czech and Slovak Corrosion Engineers Award competition for the best student thesis in the field of corrosion and corrosion protection of metals. Due to the exceptionally high quality and closely matched level of the submitted works, the expert committee decided to recognize two winners and award two equal prizes.
