TBVFnet meeting in Brno
TBFVnet, a collaborative network of laboratories dedicated to the study and surveillance of Tick-borne Flaviviruses, had a final meeting as an official part of the project. Despite this, we're committed to ongoing collaboration, ensuring a continuous exchange of knowledge among participants.
More than 20 members from the four laboratories involved in TBFVnet attended the final meeting of the ending project in Brno at the beginning of December. During the day, the results obtained during several years of collaboration between all laboratories were presented.
This was followed by a tour of the Mendel Museum, where the founder of genetics, Gregor Mendel himself worked. The event ended with a dinner in a local brewery over a glass of beer, accompanied by a discussion on further possible collaboration.
