Pavel's stay in Nikel's lab at DTU Biosustain (Denmark)
In January, Pavel underwent a two-week Erasmus+ stay in the laboratory of Pablo Nikel at The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability of the Danish Technical University in Copenhagen (DTU Biosustain). The research groups at this center use the latest microbiological, molecular biological, biochemical and bioinformatic methods that allow targeted modification of the metabolism of bacteria and yeasts for their use in biotechnology. During the internship, Pavel presented the results of research of the Microbial Bioengineering Laboratory and established closer cooperation with Pablo Nikel's group. This cooperation will allow short-term research stays for some of our students.
