Miguel and Matúš at the Pseudomonas Grassroots Meeting 2025 in Copenhagen
Miguel and Matúš represented MBL at this year Pseudomonas Grassroots Meeting (PGM), held on 27th and 28th October 2025 at DTU in Copenhagen. Miguel had a flash-talk and poster on “Bursting with benefits: microbial programmable autolysis for polymer breakdown”, he showcased how programmable cell lysis in Pseudomonas putida can be harnessed to tackle polymer degradation in a controlled and efficient way. Matúš presented one of our early-stage project focused on "Targeted autolysis of Pseudomonas putida minicells for the continuous release of cargo molecules". The informal character of the PGM once again proved ideal for in-depth scientific exchange, new contacts in the Pseudomonas community, and plenty of ideas for the next steps in our line of research.
