Success of Baru Hnčířová at NATO STO meeting of young scientists!
Of course, we have known for a long time that microbiology is a fascinating discipline with great practical applications! But now the members of NATO's Science and Technology Committee have learned about it too. At the Early Career Scientist Event, our Ph.D. student Bára Hrnčířová told them about her project on engineering bacteria for the production of bioplastics and biofuels. And from the meeting in Helsinki, she brought home not only a licorice but also a prize for the best lecture!
