New publication in Computational and Structural Biotechnology is out!
We are glad we could contribute to a new publication "Genomic and Phenotypic Comparison of Polyhydroxyalkanoates Producing Strains of Genus Caldimonas/Schlegelella" just published in the Computational and Structural Biotechnology journal. This collaborative work of the group of Dr. Karel Sedlář and the laboratory of Prof. Stanislav Obruča from the Brno University of Technology and our team describes some genotypic and phenotypic similarities and differences of four thermophilic Caldimonas/Schlegelella strains capable of polyhydroxyalkanoate production. Our contribution included the description of the carbohydrate metabolism of these strains and their sensitivity to common antibiotics. This work sheds more light on the genus of very attractive producers of bacterial biodegradable plastics.
