Baru visited our friends at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland

Baru visited the Laboratory of Biomolecular Interactions and Transport (BIT), led by prof. Jan Brezovský, to learn the basics of in silico methods for analyzing protein-protein interactions. With help and guidance from Bartłomiej Surpeta, she analyzed the interaction of a cohesin-dockerin pair from Acetivibrio clariflavus and designed mutants to improve the binding of the protein pair. She's now getting ready to test the new mutants in the lab. We're excited to see the results!
