Visit of little third-graders from Kamínky elementary school to the Department of Microbiology MU

On Tuesday March 26, children from classes 3A and 3B of Kamínky Elementary School (Nový Lískovec, Brno), accompanied by their teachers, embarked on an educational journey to the laboratories of the Department of Microbiology MU. Divided into two groups, they engaged in various activities, including observing yeast under a microscope and gaining insights into centrifuge operations and solution acidity testing. Their curiosity further led them to CEITEC, where they marveled at the electron microscope and intricate plastic models of viruses. This immersive experience left a lasting impression, with both students and teachers alike considering it a remarkable visit. We extend our gratitude to all who organized the program.
