MBL welcomes two Erasmus students Ana and Daniela from Madrid

Ana Hernandez and Daniela Fernández, from the Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid, will be staying at MBL for four months as internship and Erasmus students. Ana will collaborate with Matúš on the characterization of newly discovered and synthetic lytic peptides and proteins capable of lysing bacteria for medicinal and biotechnological applications. Daniela will collaborate with Nastya to continue the development of a thermophilic CRISPR/Cas system for Caldimonas thermodepolymerans—our favorite thermophilic bioplastics producer.
